Medical Marijuana

Manage your symptoms with medical marijuana

Medical marijuana can provide relief from the pain, nausea, and other symptoms associated with a wide range of health conditions.

How medical marijuana can help

The state of Oklahoma allows licensed physicians like Dr. King to prescribe medical marijuana as a treatment for many health conditions and symptoms, including:

  • Cancer
  • Epilepsy
  • Glaucoma
  • Crohn’s disease
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
  • Terminal illness

Patients with mental health concerns, chronic pain, or other medical conditions may also qualify for treatment. If you have symptoms you think may be managed with medical marijuana, schedule an appointment to learn more.

Our medical marijuana process

Medical marijuana can have a significant positive impact for patients suffering from a wide range of physical and mental health conditions. Here’s what to expect for the medical marijuana process at Simple Primary Care Solutions.

Schedule an appointment

The first step is scheduling an appointment to discuss your overall health and any symptoms you are experiencing, plus any past medications or treatment you have tried to manage symptoms.

Apply for a medical marijuana license

If you have a medical condition that can be treated with medical marijuana, Dr. King will write a prescription recommendation. You will then need to follow the state guidelines for obtaining your license.

Purchase medication from dispensary

State-registered dispensaries offer medical marijuana in multiple forms, including capsules, topical products, tinctures, vapors, and edibles. Talk with Dr. King or the dispensary to determine the best option for you.

Get relief from symptoms

Depending on the specific condition being treated with medical marijuana, patients may experience reduced pain, increased appetite, less anxiety, better sleep, and other positive impacts on their health.

Our Pricing

For members of our practice, an appointment to discuss medical marijuana is $79.

For non-members, the appointment is $149.
